Seth Hatchett, a rising senior and valued member of our lab, has been awarded the prestigious 2025 Goldwater Scholarship, becoming only the seventh UT Martin student to earn this honor. A dedicated triple-major in electrical engineering, cell and molecular biology, and general chemistry with a minor in neuroscience, Seth has already coauthored multiple publications and contributed significantly to the R&D projects in our lab. His long-term goal of becoming a physician-scientist reflects his deep commitment to advancing both patient care and scientific discovery. We are proud to celebrate Seth’s remarkable achievement and look forward to his continued contributions to our research community.
