Sara Batts and Seth Hatchett Share Research at Annual Sigma Xi Symposium!

Two of our lab members, Sara Batts and Seth Hatchett, proudly represented our group at the UT Martin–Murray State University Annual Sigma Xi Symposium, held this fall at Murray State on Saturday, October 25, 2025. This long-standing regional symposium, hosted in partnership with Sigma Xi – The Scientific Research Society, brings together students and faculty engaged in impactful scientific inquiry. Both Sara and Seth presented their ongoing research to an audience of peers, faculty, and scientists from multiple disciplines, contributing to a tradition upheld by one of the world’s oldest and most prestigious scientific honor societies—an organization whose members have included more than 200 Nobel Prize laureates. We congratulate Sara and Seth for their outstanding work and for showcasing the strength of our lab’s research on this respected academic stage.
