Our lab is thrilled to congratulate Sara Batts, one of our lab members, on receiving the nationally competitive Graduate School Scholarship funded by the American Academy of Clinical Neuropsychology and New2Neuropsychology, awarded to only 40 undergraduate students across the country for academic excellence, dedication to serving today’s multicultural world through neuropsychology, and strength in personal writing. In her essay, Sara shared how her early experiences sparked her enduring fascination with the brain and shaped her goal of becoming a neuropsychologist who supports and assesses neurodivergent individuals.
In addition to this honor, Sara recently completed a Summer Research Scholar position in the Anatomy & Neurobiology Department at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, where she conducted hands-on laboratory research. We are incredibly proud of Sara’s continued achievements and dedication to advancing neuroscience and neuropsychology.
